A native of Jalisco, Mexico, owner Antonio Moreno has over 20 years experience in the restaurant business. Having learned cooking from his mother and grandmother at a young age, Antonio held his first cooking job at age 16, in Oceanside, California. In 1998, he moved to Indianapolis, after being hired to manage a restaurant in that nearby city.
In 2000, Antonio moved to the Columbus area and opened his restaurant in July of that year.
Most of the recipes at our restaurant come from Antonio’s late grandmother, Natividad Jimenes. As has been our tradition since opening, Antonio personally tastes everything in the morning, before we open, to make sure it is fresh and delicious.
Joining Antonio at the restaurant is his wife, Teresa, son Antonio, Jr., and daughter Natalie.
